Solar panels

We mounted two Siemens 75-watt solar panels on the top of our rigid dodger. They can put out about 10 amps in full sun. The corners of the panels are sharp! We 5200'ed protective baby-bumpers on the corners to protect ourselves from scrapes.

Here's a simple wire diagram of the installation. We used size 10 tinned cable to route the power to the batteries. We use a SunSaver 10 charge controller. Check out e-Marine, Inc. for excellent support and great deals on solar panels!
